Achieving equity is voting
is an ongoing effort. 

Voter ID laws require certain forms of identification to be shown at polling centers. These laws disproportionately impact already marginalized communities as they are less likely to possess ID. 

Additionally, voter roll purges involve the removal of names of individuals who are found to be deceased or otherwise ineligible to vote. However, hasty voter roll purge programs, can lead to wrongful denial of an individual's access to voting rights.
